Byron Airport

We have a total of 6 general aviation airports within 30 minutes of Discovery Bay, but the jewel is the Byron Airport only a few miles away.  Byron airport covers 1,421 acres and has two asphault runways 12/30 measuring 4500′ x 100′ and 3000′ x 75′.  It has roughly 60,000 aircraft operations a year (ave.160/day), 99.9% general aviation.  of which 69% are single engine, 8% multi engine, , 5% jet, 15% glider and 3% ultralight.
